Job Description:

Provides technical direction within an assigned section or sub section of the clinical laboratory. As needed, performs prompt, accurate, and reliable laboratory procedures on patient specimens as well as to evaluate, interpret, and report test results to the appropriate patient care personnel.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

BS or BA Must possess a Bachelor’s degree verified by NYSDOE as meeting Bachelor’s degree requirements for full licensure of a clinical lab technologist required. Requires 4 years clinical lab experience as a technologist. Requires 2 years within past 6 years performing laboratory tests for which position is responsible to monitor. Lab Tech Limited Permit required. Lab Technician within 9 months required. NYS DOE - Full Clinical Laboratory Technologist License upon hire required OR laboratory technologist limited permit required not necessarily prior to hire, however prior to starting. If working with limited permit, must obtain full licensure within 9 months of hire.

Salary Range:

$39.13-$49.56 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
