Position Summary:
The School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo in the Department of Restorative Dentistry is seeking applications for a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Job responsibilities include:
Perform preventive and therapeutic treatment and instruction of General Dentistry patients in oral self-care techniques
Deliver appropriate, efficient and effective patient-centered treatment
Provide patient education
Recognize the need for further professional consultation and possible referral
Conduct administrative/operational tasks
Instruct and demonstrate clinical procedures to students

Minimum Qualifications:
NYS Registered Dental Hygienist License
BLS / CPR certification by time of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, experience working with diverse populations, and attention to detail
At least five years of experience
Experience with hybrids and implants
