Evergreen Health Program Assistant in Buffalo, New York
COMMUNITY ACCESS SERVICES
The Program Assistant will provide clerical, organizational and data entry support to programs within Community Access Services. The Program Assistant will assist with administrative support through the organization and support program goals by assisting with outreach, community events, and program activities. As part of the Essential Functions for this role, the Program Assistant:
Enters program data into databases to facilitate accurate and timely reporting
Provides customer service to clients and visitors, answer telephone calls and processes mail.
Assists administrative staff with development and implementation of improvements in general office systems and procedures ensuring consistency and efficiency
Assist with client services, outreach and community events as needed
Assists staff with logistical aspects of preparation for programs, meetings and special events
Maintains complete and accurate client and program files in compliance with agency confidentiality policies and grant requirements; enters all required data into electronic reporting system
Participates in Quality Improvement activities
Qualified Candidate will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, (Associate’s degree preferred) with a minimum of one (1) years of professional experience working in a support or related role. Non profit experience preferred. Candidate must be able to communicate clearly and professionally in writing and verbally, and demonstrate ability to work independently and exercise effective time-management skills. Ability to work on weekends and evenings as requested is essential. Candidate must demonstrate familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word), effective organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) in a confidential manner required. Sensitivity toward cultural diversity, HIV/AIDS and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.
