One Family.Purpose StatementWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented TCCS Intern to join our dynamic product management team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience as a part of our Toppings, Creams, and Culinary Solutions business unit. The intern will support various aspects of product management, including market research, product development, project management, customer engagement, and reporting. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in product management and gain valuable insights into the food industry.This internship will begin at the end of January 2025 and will continue through the Spring semester and then extend into the Summer. Must be able to work in office Tuesday-Thursday at our world headquarters in Buffalo, NY 15-25 hours/weekKey Accountabilities and OutcomesMarket Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape in the Toppings, Creams, and Culinary Solutions (TCCS) categories. Including:Assist in defining product requirements and specifications based on research and stakeholder inputMonitor and evaluate competitive products and landscape, identify opportunities and threats to the categorySummarizing key insights and trends and dissemination of information to internal teamsProduct Development Support: Assist in the development and testing of new products, ensuring they meet quality standards and customer expectations.Including:Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and sales, to support product launch activities.Support project management activities by tracking progress, updating project plans, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.Customer Engagement: Assist in managing customer feedback and inquiries related to TCCS products and overarching category.Support customer WHQ visits, ideation sessions, and sample requests in a timely, organized, and efficient mannerSupport of ad hoc customer-specific presentations and materialsStrategic Planning: Support of the 2025 Joint Sales Meeting planning process including assistance with the Category Strategic Plans, Innovation Showcase, and overarching meeting coordination.Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports and presentations on market research findings, product performance, and project status. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all project-related activities.Knowledge, Skills, and ExperienceStudents must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree majoring in Marketing, communications or related business fieldDemonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize and be able to successfully handle several projects at once, organizational skills is a mustMust be resourceful; able to figure out who or where to look for informationDetail oriented with solid written and verbal communication skillsMicrosoft Office 365 proficient, and computer savvy (i.e. use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)Ideally, some background, passion or interest in food and product marketing!Able to occasionally lift 25 pounds.COMPENSATIONIn accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role.
