Summary: Experienced individual to join our team as a Microsoft MTR Conference Room Administrator with expertise in Crestron equipment. Individual must have working understanding of Network Campus LAN environment. This role will be pivotal in managing the setup, maintenance, and optimization of Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron technology across our organization. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge in Microsoft and Crestron solutions, along with a strong commitment to delivering seamless collaboration experiences. Must have customer service experience working in a healthcare and research environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Configure and deploy Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron hardware and software, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
2. Collaborate with Crestron programmers and vendor integrators to customize and optimize room control interfaces for MTR systems.
3. Perform regular maintenance and updates on MTR and Crestron systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MTR, Crestron hardware, software, and integrations.
5. Coordinate with IT support teams and Crestron technical support to escalate and resolve complex issues in a timely manner.
6. Provide training and support to end-users on MTR and Crestron functionality, operation, and troubleshooting.
7. Monitor MTR and Crestron system performance metrics, analyze data, and implement improvements as needed.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MTR and Crestron systems with other collaboration tools and technologies.
Requirements:
1. Proven expertise in configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) integrated with Crestron technology.
2. In-depth knowledge of Crestron control systems, including programming and configuration using Crestron Toolbox or Crestron Studio.
3. Proven expertise with LAN Networking hardware and be comfortable with network hardware adds moves and changes.
4. Working knowledge of switch port configurations.
5. Strong understanding of network infrastructure, TCP/IP protocols, and audio/video conferencing technologies.
6. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues in a Windows environment, particularly related to MTR and Crestron systems.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical users.
8. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
9. Ability to work with C level staff in highly stressful situations calmly and professionally
10. Relevant certifications such as Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or Crestron Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) are highly desirable.
Salary range for this position is $88,639 - $111,897 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. Master's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience in computer system hardware, operating systems and software, enterprise networking or computer systems security as it relates to technology used at the organization; or
2. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience as a Network Technician at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center; or
3. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of four (4) of full-time experience in computer system hardware, operating systems and software, enterprise networking or computer systems security as it relates to technology used at the organization; or
4. Associates degree and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in computer system hardware, operating systems and software, enterprise networking or computer systems security as it relates to technology used at the organization; or
5. High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time experience in computer system hardware, operating systems and software, enterprise networking or computer systems security as it relates to technology used at the organization.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
