At Conax, our Manufacturing Engineers are responsible for the manufacturing process development and driving continuous improvement. A successful Manufacturing Engineer is a skilled engineer who enjoys working with others to find effective solutions to issues through collaboration and by problem-solving.

As a manufacturing engineering teammate, you will plan, direct, and coordinate process activities to assure optimum quality in products manufactured and assembled within our work cells. This includes developing manufacturing documentation, tooling to support production needs and cell layouts. In this role, strong communication skills are essential to successfully coordinate activities and collaborate with others internally to ensure high quality products are delivered to our customers. Analysis skills are also required to investigate internal and external quality concerns and you may lead cross functional teams to determine root cause and implement corrective actions to help drive continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Plan, direct, and coordinate all process activities to assure optimum quality in all products manufactured and assembled.

  • Develop Manufacturing Documentation.

  • Coordinate all process activities and work with design engineering, manufacturing, planning, and other disciplines to ensure the quality of the product.

  • Investigate internal and external quality concerns and lead cross-functional teams to determine root causes and implement permanent corrective actions.

  • Drive continuous KPI improvement.

  • Assist in the training of teammates as required to support process development/sustainment.

  • Find innovative ways to improve quality through new process controls.

Salary ranges for this position are determined based upon the job location and can be adjusted based upon experience, reflecting our commitment to valuing the expertise and contributions of our individual teammates. Salary range for this role is $57,000 - $110,000 annually based upon experience.
