Job Description:

This position provides leadership on a 24 hours/7 days per week basis, to the nursing care team in order to provide for the patients needs while under medical care in the facility (as inpatient, resident, day surgery, etc.) as well as to assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate patients' nursing care. The Nurse Manager is responsible for one or more departments and has responsibility for operations, hiring and terminating staff; disciplining and counseling staff and for approving payroll and time records. The Nurse Manager is also responsible for the quality improvement outcomes and activities of the unit(s) to which they manage.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

Current NYS license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing required. Five (5) years of clinical experience with at least one (1) year of leadership experience required. Clinical experience in the area preferred.

$99,469.50-$136,763.25 annually Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
