Job Description
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking candidates for a Maintenance Manager position at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo, a 386 bed facility. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising all unit activities related to facility maintenance and engineering services; Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Carpentry, Painting and all General Maintenance throughout the facility as well as upkeep of all buildings and grounds.
COMPENSATION: The salary range for this position ranges from $80,000 to $85,000, depending on circumstances including an applicant?s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark?s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an ?at-will position? and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
Job Responsibilities
Manages all MEP, Carpentry, Painting and all General Maintenance plus Buildings and Grounds. Ensures effective execution of all department strategies/initiatives in order to help meet company & client needs with high standards of excellence, urgency & predictability by remaining process-focused and decisive.
Utilizes the Computerized Maintenance Management System - CMMS and manages and prioritizes all work orders
Responsible for all Preventative Maintenance as well as logging/documentation
Responsible for Project Planning as well as oversight of contractors and vendors
Assists with budgeting and capital planning and maintains/uses capital equipment efficiently

Assists with managing labor costs, supply costs and inventories
Ensures compliance with all contract obligation
Supports the effective implementation of the comprehensive Safety Plan and helps with driving full compliance of all safety rules, guidelines and protocols
May conduct operational audits and helping to ensure a high level of execution and compliance
Drive operational efficiencies, labor/scheduling productivity
Supports compliance with Aramark Facilities Services and regulatory agency standards and programs and translating corporate strategy into front line operational tactics and will ensure compliance with all government, local and other safety regulations including Fire & Life Safety, Environment of Care and Joint Commission standards.
Establishes and maintains effective communications and business relationships

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Requiring knowledge of Maintenance trades including MEP - Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing + Carpentry, Painting and General Maintenance
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements specific to maintenance and Fire & Life Safety
Healthcare and Joint Commission experience preferred.
Strong leadership skills required
HvAC experience is a plus
