Job Description:

To perform clerical and patient care support by ordering, processing, and distributing clinical laboratory specimens; and/or performing limited non-complex laboratory tests; as well as registering patients as required.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required. Associate of Applied Science in laboratory technology preferred. 1 year of experience in a health care environment with direct patient care or laboratory involvement preferred; OR minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences major from an accredited institution preferred; OR currently enrolled in the minimum of an associate degree (or equivalent) in a medical field or life sciences field from an accredited institution with at least part time status preferred.

Only applicants who already have the competencies to fill the position and who can fill the position without training will be considered.

Salary Range:

$21.09-$26.68 per hour Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
