Delaware North Labor Analyst in Buffalo, New York
The Opportunity
Delaware North is hiring a Labor Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Labor Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting labor management efforts through developing dash-boarding, modeling, and ad hoc analyses for all Delaware North subsidiaries. As a key member of the labor management group, you will work with various teams including finance and operations to deliver actionable insights and labor optimization analysis.
Pay
Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $58458 - $66800 / year
In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Responsibilities
Oversee labor optimization analysis, forecasting trends, dashboard creation, and improving and automating reporting
Utilize tools including OneStream, UKG Dimensions, Tableau, BI, R, SQL, and Python to query and automate processes, reporting and analysis, and visualization and forecasting
Design new and innovative analytical solutions to forecast key performance indicator trends, develop labor standards, and optimize scheduling solutions
Develop presentation materials that synthesize analyses into a format ready for senior management consumption
Apply theoretical and experiential knowledge on predictive modeling to solve large scale business problems
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in data analytics, data science, mathematics, computer science, business economics, statistics, finance, or a related field
2+ years' of experience in similar roles
Experience working with large volumes of data, including labor and finance, point-of-sale, casino data, and pricing is a plus
Proficiency in Tableau for BI visualization and forecasting
Ability to apply knowledge on predictive modeling to solve large scale business problems
Experience in data extraction and transformation, relational databases, and SQL
Knowledge of fundamental concepts of marketing such as positioning, segmentation, and consumer behavior
Understanding of labor and productivity and how it relates to financial outcomes
Understanding of complex digital ecosystems and metrics available for collection and analysis
Travel, up to 5%, may be required
