Summary: Responsible for driving strategic initiatives that enhance Roswell Park's culture, improve overall performance, and foster employee development; implements strategies that enhance the retention, development, and growth of all employees, ensuring that programs are designed to enhance the career growth of employees from underrepresented backgrounds; works closely with senior leadership to design and implement programs that align with organizational objectives and promote workforce development, employee engagement, and change management; conducts needs assessments as necessary; manages the organizational development function within the Human Resources Department and closely collaborates with other Human Resources leaders. Starting salary is $141,442 commensurate with experience.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
1. Master's degree and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time progressively responsible human resources management experience including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of eight (8) years of full-time progressively responsible human resources management experience including eighteen (18) months experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.
NOTE: Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in Organizational Development/Leadership and the equivalent of five (5) years of full time organizational/leadership development in-house experience, with a proven track record of implementing well-attended programs with significant organizational impact as well as the equivalent of five (5) years of fulltime experience in a managerial or executive capacity.
