Responsibilities: * Oversee the preparation and filing of federal and state income tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations. * Conduct thorough tax research to stay updated on changes in tax laws and provide recommendations to minimize the company's tax liabilities. * Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information for tax reporting purposes. * Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies to optimize the company's overall tax position. * Review and analyze financial statements to identify opportunities for tax savings and process improvements. * Manage relationships with external tax advisors and authorities.
Required Qualifications: * 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in public accounting * Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. * Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Education: * Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications: * Certified Public Accountant, CPA * Master of Business Administration, MBA * Experience using ONESOURCE
