The Clinical Systems Specialist I is responsible for assisting in the management, operations and implementation of Electronic Medical Record and Clinical Systems for Evergreen Association. They maintain knowledge of agency workflows, monitor users of clinical systems, and provide on-going training and support to assigned center. The Clinical Systems Specialist I will effectively maintain all training curriculum, tutorials, and records. They will provide initial trouble shooting for all clinical systems, escalating issues where appropriate.

As part of the essential functions of this role, the Clinical Systems Specialist I:

  • Coordinates and documents all training and support for clinical systems, including but not limited to Medent, HEALTHeLINK, PSYCKES, AIRS, PENELOPE and SAYIT.

  • Maintains current knowledge of assigned center’s workflows, updating training tutorials and materials where needed.

  • Regularly meets with key stake holders in assigned center to identify ongoing support needs to communicate with Clinical Systems team.

  • Works collaboratively with all other Clinical Systems Specialists to standardize process and outcomes across the agency.

  • Regularly monitors user’s activity and data input in clinical systems to identify issues and provide intervention when needed.

  • Enters data timely and accurately to promote patient care delivery and participates in ongoing QI/QA activities and training to improve patient experience and increase data quality where needed. Maintains and protects sensitive information in enterprise systems and uses/shares data in compliance with Information Governance and Security Policies.

    Qualified candidate will have an Associate degree, or equivalent, with two (2) years of experience utilizing Electronic Medical Record software, Medent preferred. Candidate must be proficient in verbal, non-verbal and written communication with training experience preferred. Familiarity with computers and MS Office software (Outlook, Word) required. Sensitivity toward cultural diversity, people living with HIV/AIDS and lifestyle and addiction issues essential.
