DuPont 2025 Summer Intern & Co-Op: Chemical, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Opportunities in Buffalo, New York

DuPont's paid intern/co-op program offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience to develop essential skills for their career. By working on meaningful projects with DuPont professionals, you will integrate classroom theory with practical work and gain real-world experience working in an inclusive environment as you prepare you to be a leader. You will also have the opportunity to engage with diversity, equity and inclusion organizations at DuPont.

As an Engineering intern or co-op, you will adopt DuPont's core values, gain industrial experience, and develop an understanding of DuPont Business and Functions, products, and customers. You will work in a team environment alongside experienced professionals and participate in work-specific training and development.

Our US student program includes 10–12-week internship and 3–6-month co-op assignments. The scope and length of your assignment will vary depending on the specific site and function.

Summer interns and co-ops must be available from May – August.

Examples of typical roles in manufacturing, operations and business include Manufacturing Technical / Process Engineering, Capital Projects, Automation & Process Control, Leveraged Engineering, Equipment Reliability & Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, Product Quality, and Technical Service

As an Engineering intern or co-op, you will have opportunities to do the following:

Requirements

The DuPont Intern/Co-op Program seeks top talent. To be considered, the following requirements must be met:

  • Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher (out of 4.0 scale)

  • Legal right to work in the U.S. without restriction

The Pay range for this role is $16.10 - $25.30 Hourly

How Base Pay is Determined: DuPont has job leveling frameworks that help organize roles based on progressive levels of responsibility, proficiency and qualifications. Each role has an associated pay range (or an established pay rate for some roles) based on the competitive market in each country where we operate. Each individual’s pay is based on a variety of factors, including their role and the associated pay range for that role, their geographic location (i.e., country, state, metropolitan area), as well as their skills, experience, education and certifications, and performance.
