Job Title: Skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled industrial maintenance technician to oversee the installation and maintenance of our industrial equipment. As an industrial maintenance technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and mechanical equipment. This will include installing new equipment, performing regular services and maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting equipment breakdowns.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret engineering blueprints.
Install new production equipment.
Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and production-related equipment.
Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines.
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.
Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.
Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.
Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.
Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area.
Prepare and submit maintenance reports.
Essential Skills
Mechanical maintenance
Electrical maintenance (sensors, servo, older electrical)
Exposure to PLC
Additional Skills & Qualifications
GMP experience
AutoCAD experience
PLC proficiency

Work Environment
This position operates in a cleanroom environment with some areas housing larger presses. The work hours are structured in two shifts: 1st shift runs Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm, and Friday from 5am to 1:30pm. The 2nd shift runs Monday to Thursday from 3pm to 1:30am, and Friday from 12pm to 8:30pm. A 5% shift differential is provided for the 2nd shift.
