Six Flags Manager, Food & Beverage in BUENA PARK, California
Overview:
The Manager of Food and Beverage is responsible for direct oversight of operations within the park. The Manager must ensure responsibility for guest service, food quality, outlet sanitation, labor cost productivity, revenue per cap, and training. The Manager must also make certain that Knott’s Berry Farm is represented correctly through the company’s standards being upheld to the highest regard.
Salary Details: $78,000 - $104,000/yr. based on experience
Responsibilities:
Maintains financial division objectives including, total revenue, per cap, cost of goods, labor costs, ODC's, and contribution.
Ensures that area managers and supervision maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area, while approving opening and closing check lists, maintaining safety, security, and loss prevention policies, and performing all daily operations.
Reviews reports of all unsafe or unusual conditions, while ensuring corrective action is taken.
Oversees the performance of all operational duties of staff, while complying with all local, state, and federal health and safety codes.
Prepares annual budgets and monitors the progress of budget plans.
Communicates department status to Director daily, including operational issues, employee concerns, guest complaints, special requests, losses, and other relevant reports.
Recruits, interviews, hires and trains divisional staff as needed.
Adheres to and enforces all Cedar Fair and specific Park policies and procedures, including safety, attendance and EEO policies, and demonstrates commitment to customer service in all aspects of employment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED required.
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality preferred.
At least 4-6 years of relevant work experience with food & beverage.
ServSafe Manager, Calif Food Handlers Manager certification required.
ServSafe Alcohol certification required.
At least 3-5 years of leadership/supervisor experience preferred.
Must be able to work, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs.
