Citigroup UK ICAAP Report Production Lead Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

The ICAAP Report Production Lead Analyst is senior finance professional responsible for driving the generation, analysis, and submission of reports related to UK ICAAPs and Recovery and Resolution Planning. The Lead Analyst is expected to critically review and provide effective challenge to inputs to the reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Run the UK ICAAP capital aggregation tool consolidating multiple inputs from variety of functions, primarily Finance and Risk.

  • Populate related regulatory templates such as PRA111.

  • Perform integrity checks and effectively challenge inputs, such as Stress Loss results, stressed RWAs.

  • Enhance the aggregation model to reflect Basel 3.1 changes. Improve control checks sitting within the tool.

  • Prepare management decks to the ICAAP and Recovery Working Groups and to the UK Prudential Resource Forum.

  • Write the narrative in the Stress Results section of the CGML and CUKL ICAAP Document.

  • Respond to senior management and 2LOD and IA challenges related to the ICAAP results.

  • Bring new ideas to the table and propose implementation solutions, lead in the rollout of new technologies. Become a trusted advisor when it comes to Capital related topics to senior stakeholders and team members.

Ideal Background:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

  • 8+ years of experience in Finance or Risk or Treasury, minimum 3 years of experience related to Capital reporting or management.

  • Overarching knowledge of the Basel requirements, Capital Adequacy Ratio and Leverage Ratio calculation, ICAAP guidelines.

  • Experience with ICAAP and stress testing is preferred.

  • Knowledge of Counterparty Credit Risk and Market Risk would be beneficial.

  • Knowledge of MREL, MDA calculation is a plus.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements. Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English.
