As a Cybersecurity Customer Support Engineer, you will partner with our product management teams to ensure the long-term security of our product line. In this role, you will improve established processes and a wide network of team members to be the central point of contact for customer engagement concerning the security of our products.
What you will do
Assist Product and Sales Teams with accurately completing security documentation to satisfy customer and/or regulatory requirements proactively and on-demand.
Review existing product deployment’s support structure for vulnerabilities and recommend opportunities for improvement. This will include coordinating product security patching activities per European regulations.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop and coordinate the release of product vulnerability related documentation and other customer facing content.
Own the development of cybersecurity documentation to align with customer and regulatory expectations, such as security bulletins, vulnerability disclosures, and security reports.
Coordinate with product management teams to streamline the sales activities by maintaining security best practices throughout the lifecycle of our products.
Keys to Success
To be successful as a part of our team you will need to communicate, both verbally and written, with customers and product teams to ensure alignment with Thermo Fisher’s cybersecurity standards. A keen understanding of how security can aid product teams in deploying secure technology that improves our relationship with our customers.
Education
4+ years of related cybersecurity experience, particularly in product security, customer service, security sales engineering or technical support.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity, computer science, engineering or another relevant field.
