Citigroup Senior Security Engineering Manager (Risk & Vulnerability) in Budapest, Hungary

Do you want to help driving the direction of products that run the core processes of vulnerability and technology risk?

We are looking for an expert in our Technology Reference Data (TRD) organization to work closely with our cyber security, infrastructure, and businesses to build solutions to manage vulnerability threat management and technology risk. The ideal candidate will have strong data background and have knowledge of technology risk management.

The vulnerability and technology risk management team responsibilities are to reduce Citi’s risk profile by building tools and supporting processes to proactively identify, report, and facilitate remediation across the private and public clouds (AWS, GCP, and Azure).

You will work in collaboration with security teams, infrastructure services, compliance/regulatory teams, and business partners to drive vulnerability and risk management and across Citi’s expansive footprint. The includes asset management, patch management, scanning, vulnerability reporting, developing remediation plans, and tracking execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with risk, audit, compliance, and security teams to manage technology risk and vulnerability tracking and reporting.

  • Translate vulnerabilities and risk into actionable intelligence including remediation and mitigations steps.

  • Monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.

  • Work with engagement teams to own distinct portions of vulnerability and technology risk management solutions.

  • Lead the implementation of security solutions for our clients and support the clients in their desire to protect the business.

  • Manage the delivery of high impact dashboards and data visualizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of combined IT and Security work experience with a broad range of exposure to business/system analysis, and security assessments.

  • Expertise in leading enterprise risk, patch, and/or vulnerability management teams and programs.

  • Technology experience with network, operating systems, and applications as they relate to vulnerability management.

  • Experience with programming with any modern language such as Java and Python, Relational Database Management Systems including ETL operations, implementing Data Quality controls, and query tuning.

  • Solid OLAP and OLTP Data Modeling knowledge

  • Fluency in English
