What is the job about?

The Senior Financial Controller contributes to the Finance organization with a high degree of financial/accounting/system insight. The Senior Finance Controller roles exist at Group level and in some cases also at local entities.

Your main responsibilities :

  • Consolidating and ding financial reporting and analysis at Grundfos Group level. Explaining the financial development.

  • Contributing with a constant focus on compliance and quality within the financial reporting through complex analysis, continued compliance development, reduction of complexity as well as efficiency optimization.

  • Evaluating compliance issues in business cases and projects in close cooperation with business partners.

  • Implementing and integrating compliance tasks and accounting principles in an ongoing dialogue within the Financial Reporting & Compliance team as well as with the Compliance Controlling team and the Accounting & Processing teams at Performance Unit level.

  • Initiating and defining the need for complex analysis, drive the continued development of monitoring, and secure a high quality financial reporting and compliance with global policies and procedures and Group accounting.

  • Supporting the Finance organization at Group Level and at Performance Unit Level in adhering to the Accounting Manual and Financial Policies.

  • Supporting forecast and budget for Country directors.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • SAP, MS Office knowledge and previous experience

  • Controlling, tax and accounting background, education or previous experience

  • Internal, external audit, internal control experience

  • Proficiency in English

  • Excellent analytic skills

  • Strong, organized personality with ability to do the prioritization in the daily work

  • Flexibility and good change management
