Education: College or University degree
Experience: min. 2 - 4 years relevant working experience
Language: Fluent English and Hungarian lang. knowledge in written and spoken
Position Summary
Analyze and make insights of customer data to be more successful in planning and execution of hyper and large organized channels’ in store communication strategy and action plan, in terms of in-shop activation and tailor-made promotions in order to continuously improve brands’ performance in the channels and accelerate E-commerce. Actively participate in yearly planning process and CatDev project management.
A day in the life of a Senior Category Development Specialist...
She/he is responsible for managing Channel plans at a Corporate and Category level
She/he is responsible for articulating where we will play based on Category, Shopper, Consumer and Customer insights and needs, and how we will win.
Will develop and integrate into the commercial planning processes the element of the Channel wheel and ultimately publish a picture of success for the Category in the Channel, enabling its implementation, continuous review and optimization.
Will also support the identification of organisational capabilities required to successfully execute the Channel plan and develop the compelling channel category selling story and partner sales in delivering it to the Customer.
Through a deep understanding of the Shopper and Retail Landscape, channel dynamics and prioritized Channels and based on shopper centric insights and missions (relevant physical & digital store formats), she/he will develop channel solutions and contribute to build commercially aligned business cases and key initiatives that address the opportunity for future channel growth, leveraging our categories strategies.
Will identify opportunities within all prioritized channels to execute the key category initiatives ensuring a frictionless on-line/off-line experience. And contribute to the development Multi-Category initiatives within a Channel
Through internal alignment and partnering with Sales in engaging customer, she/he will also support Sales in engaging external Stakeholder and the implementation of the defined ambition through insight led and effective story telling and deep channel and customer understanding.
