Citigroup Risk and Control Senior Analyst in Budapest, Hungary

Cash Services provides services to Human Resources (HR) including HR systems, admin and payroll across the firm globally. This position supports to build strong control frameworks of Global Cash Services processes.
The Risk and Control Senior Analyst will manage the Cash Services risk analysis and internal control program. This role will be responsible for completing regular risk assessments, special mitigation projects, supporting and facilitating gap audits and routine audit plans. In coordination with the Cash Services Risk and Control Team, this role will help the business in developing solutions for upcoming and existing inherent risk. This Risk and Control Senior Analyst will also be working in partnership with many stakeholders including Operations leaders and risk representatives from other divisions within the organization (country, cluster /regional, global).
This role will report to the Cash Services Risk and Control Head and is part of the Cash Services Risk and Control Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Assist the business in ensuring that third party vendors comply with Citi policies throughout their lifecycles
Prepare risk reporting, including analysis of risk profile and risk indicators
Act as an independent advisor for Operations leaders as it relates to determining the effectiveness of control design
Initial point of contact for escalations and assists the products on incident reporting
Operations Risks Management Engagement :
Work closely with Operations Risk Management leaders and cross-divisional risk representatives in aligning risk framework to identify and evaluate current and emerging risks as it impacts the team
Coordinate with unit leaders / team members for execution on new controls aligned to agreements made with Operations Risks Management peers
Regional / Global Engagement:
Provide support and network with Country Peers, Cluster /Regional / Global / Citi Shared Center Stakeholders to achieve the common goal
Understand the operating model and recommend viable solutions to problems
Ideal background:
5-8 years of experience in Risk & Control
Fluent English language knowledge
Bachelor’s degree
Expert knowledge in MS Office
Re-engineering, process improvement skills
Appreciation of cultural and business differences across a diverse region
Strong sense of ownership, accountability, proactiveness, and risk awareness
Experience of working in a virtual team
