About the Role and the Purpose of the Job:

To provide exceptional customer service and a comprehensive financial and administrative service through leadership, working with the Contract Support team, Operations team and Finance team across the Global account. It is key that the Lead Contract Support understands procedures, processes and operates them to the required standard, encouraging best practice across the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Contract

  • Build and develop relationships with key business and account stakeholders, customers and external agencies.

  • Identify and help drive implementation of savings opportunities to ensure customer and GWS financial savings targets are maximized.

  • Drive high quality commercial performance through understanding the contractual commitments

  • Supporting the preparation of monthly business reviews and KPI reporting

  • Weekly AR calls, supporting Finance to resolve any issues

  • Helpdesk: including but not limited to; logging, distributing and closing of reactive calls on desired system (Ad hoc cover for team)

  • Continually develop systems to maximize efficiency benefits for the customer and GWS.

  • Liaising with Operations team on a variety of matters and attending to their needs whilst maintaining a strong working relationship

  • Finance

  • Support the EMEA Finance Manager with the preparation of month end journals (e.g. OPO accrual)

  • Business partnering with the Operations team and supporting the EMEA Finance Manager with monthly financial reporting including reviews with Operations team

  • Support the Contract Support Team across the regions to ensure timely raising and receipting of PO’s as well as resolution of any vendor invoice issues.

  • Creation and review of management reports associated to Purchase Orders.

  • Raising Purchase Orders when required.

  • Reviewing open Purchase Orders.

  • Policy and procedure compliance.

  • Comprehensive spend tracking – Subscription Services (Fixed Price), Cost Plus and Assignment Services

  • Drive high quality financial performance to influence P&L result.

  • Ad-hoc reporting as requested by Operations and Finance stakeholders.

  • Team KPI management and support

  • iScala, Peoplesoft, MyBuy experience

  • Quality and People

  • Reporting and management of work management system

  • Partner with and develop the Contract Support Team and ensure team is effectively utilised.

  • Hold Contract Support Team Meetings to share business updates and best practice.

  • Providing the necessary training and development to ensure effective delivery from the Contract Support function.

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience.

  • A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required.

  • Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way.

  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.

  • Advanced math skills. Ability to calculate advanced figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.

Success Measures:

  • Achievement of KPIs in line with business requirements

  • Development of Contract Support team

  • Accurate tracking of out-of-scope services ensuring 100% recovery of costs from client
