Oracle Java Software Engineer - part time for student in BUDAPEST, Hungary

We are looking for University student into our OAL team!

The place of work is in Budapest but we do offer working hybrid model (remote x onsite), 24hour per week till at least the end of summer 2025.

Come join our team as we provide solutions for Oracle's internal business units, customers, and partners, As we take Oracle to the next level and proudly service an employee-user population greater than 100,000 with a global single instance supporting a wide variety of Oracle applications.

Work with Oracle’s world class technology to develop, implement, and support Oracle’s global cloud infrastructure.

As a member of the OAL organization, assist with the analysis of existing complex programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare design, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and system standards.

You will be part of CRM team of OAL. The team is working on applications which support sales and marketing. We are expanding because the team will need to implement a new initiative.

Preferred Skills

  • Experienced with Java and Spring framework

  • At least some familiarity with Oracle SQL is preferred

  • Interest in gaining knowledge in QA best practices and frameworks.

  • Elastic/Opensearch, Docker and Kubernetes knowledge are also valuable (but not required) for this position

  • Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to present ideas in business & user friendly language

  • Ability to deliver effectively in a team setting as well as independently

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment that demands co-ordination across time-zones.
