Oracle Intern as DevOps Engineer - part time for student in BUDAPEST, Hungary
Job Description
At Cloud Solutions, we are building the next generation Oracle’s customer success management system, a pure internet system and supporting data lake. Cloud Solutions team is looking for an ambitious, talented, energetic, and self-motivated DevOps Engineer Trainee.
In this role you will be immersed in and exposed to complex systems and their integration as Oracle cloud subscription data travels to multiple systems from its inception.
You will be part of this world class engineering team from day one and gradually understand how the entire technical stack is built up, right from infrastructure to the end services which is highly scalable and efficient in all possible aspects.
What you will be doing
Acquiring the necessary skills to efficiently work with OCI cloud and related tools
Being part of a DevSecOps team, which develop and operate a cloud native solution
Helping in daily operational tasks including managing different infrastructure elements in OCI or patching them
Improving existing code quality
Troubleshooting various infrastructure issues in test environments
Supporting development teams in technical issues and testing
Enhance existing monitoring and notification functions to be able to address possible issues proactively
Working with Technologies and tools like: Terraform, Ansible, Bash, Python, JQ, Oracle SQL CL, Docker, Kubernetes, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS), Git, Elastic Search, Grafana, Prometheus and many more
Requirements
Basic understanding of infrastructure management and networking
Experience in linux systems and tooling, understanding git basics
Ability to learn, experiment and work independently from/based on sources in English
Ability to collaborate with a small team in English
Optionals
Experience in DevOps Cloud native like AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI
Knowledge of DevOps related cloud native application deployment and operations
Familiar with Infrastructure as Code technologies: Terraform/Ansible
Familiar with tools and languages like: Python, SQL (Oracle), Bash, JQ
Knowledge of container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
Having experience with relational (e.g. Oracle) and NoSQL (e.g. Elastic Search) databases
