German Speaking Service Support Specialist (Part-time)

What is the job about?

The position has functional report to the Head of 1st level Customer Service Support in Erkrath, Germany. You will be a part of our team located in Budapest and work close together with customers and colleagues in our team in Hungary and Germany. This is a part-time role with 20 working hours a week.

Your main responsibilities :

  • As a Service Support Specialist you will be responsible for providing first level support in German to the customers. Here are simple technical questions to be answered regarding the Grundfos BOX products (e.g.: pumps, domestic waterworks, lifting systems, controls), appointments, offers, spare parts and orders.

  • Among other exciting tasks, you will:

  • Respond on a friendly and competent manner to customer inquiries made by telephone and email.

  • Create SAP orders

  • Provide the customer with professional and competent assistance with questions relating to installation and commissioning and in the event of faults.

  • handle product, price and availability inquiries, literature inquiries, use of the Grundfos Product Center.

  • Answer appointment requests for service orders from the client.

  • Track and adhere to business processes.- Always behave professionally towards customers

  • Need to answer customer inquiries by phone or email as quickly as possible

  • Need to use the IT systems provided by Grundfos in accordance with the required standards.

Your background

We imagine that you have:

  • Fluency in German and English

  • Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and preferably the Zendesk ticket system

  • Ability to travel (preferably approx. 15 days annually)

  • Customer Service mindset (seeks feedback, deliver high-quality work, sets high standards etc.)

  • Experience in customer care, preferably technical support is a huge advantage

  • Relating and networking – quickly building rapport and strong relationships

  • Good communication skills, both oral and written (clear, fluent, and adaptive to settings)

  • High level of ability Planning and Organizing and able to juggle multiple activities with clear priorities set

  • Adapt quickly to changes (no two days will be the same)
