About the role
The Financial Controlling Senior Analyst will support the team members with technical related questions and issues and report / advance matters to the Lead / Junior Managers within the area.
Ensuresmooth and accuratemonth-end closes, thetimely and accuratesubmission of thefinancial & statutoryreport.
Givetechnical accounting supportwithin theirownfieldtothe FC team,
Partner withthe RTR team toensuretheinformation in thelegalentity financial documentsaccurately and completelyreflectsour business operations
Supportthe decision makingprocesswithdifferentfinancialcontrollinganalysis,
Ensurethatthepolicies and proceduresareunderstood and followed in the team and actasadvisortoother GBO groupfunctionteams
Performmonth end closeresponsibilitiesincludingjournalentry preparation, supportsthereconciliationprocess (e.g. accounting mentorship and ensuringaccurate backup information and data in alignmentwith PCAOB requirements)
Prepare financial & statutoryreports and supportinganalysis
Ensurethatfinancial & statutoryprocessesareundertakenaccurately, efficiently, ontime and thatthesurroundingcontrolproceduresaretechnicallyadheredto in line withtheinternal (CARM) and externalrequirements
Understand, interpret, and implement Group Accounting and Reportingrequirements; communicaterequirementstothe rest of the Financial Control team and torelevantteams in GBO
Supportthe FAC process, provideanalysisforthe FAC completion
What you'll bring
Bachelor's or Master's Degree
Proven experience in Financial Controlling / Accounting / Statutory / Audit
Qualifiedaccountant
2-3years’ experience in relevantarea
Experienceworkingwithin an international / multiculturalenvironment
OutstandingRisk Management (InternalControls, HandlingRisk, EmbeddingCompliance & Ethics)
Strong Financial Controllingknowledge (Balancesheet, Group and Local Financial Reporting, Accounting principles)
Strong analyticalskillsto be abletosee and understandthebigpicture and deliverhighlevelmessage, offeringsolutionsforissues
Fluent English knowledge
Fluent Italian Business languageknowledge is an advantage
