Education is moving at an accelerated pace to online and hybrid modes of learning. As the premier education learning software company we connect students and teachers with tools to help everyone learn together.
As the needs of students and teachers evolve and grow, so does the need for a platform that seamlessly connects the growing number of education software tools built by customers, other companies, and our own teams.
We are looking for a Director of Product Management to join our Platform Product team. In this position, you’ll be leading multiple teams and helping to drive Product strategy and delivery across our platform services, helping to build more seamless, flexible, and scalable integrations between Instructure’s own products and 3rd party systems.
You will report directly to the VP of Product, and will lead Product for our Application Services and Identity teams, and work closely with the rest of the platform team as well as our Partner and product teams to help deliver the future of the platform.
What you will be doing:
Working closely with Engineering and Product leadership to support the strategy and direction of the Instructure platform, considering business objectives, technical needs, and overall market conditions.
Empowering individual-contributor product managers. Build trusting relationships with executives, faculty, students and staff at institutions, schools, and learning organizations we serve. They collaborate with leaders and colleagues at all levels, in all functions around Instructure to ensure that customer confidence is well-placed in Instructure.
Tend to operational and logistics activities as needed. These include hiring and onboarding product managers, coordinating formal learning and development opportunities, taking care of expense reports, orchestrating appropriate support for teams when product managers take time off, and similar manager-leader responsibilities.
Here's what you will need to know/have:
