Pay Range: FUCHS offers competitive pay commensurate with experience in a similar position. The range for this position is $19 - $21 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. The schedule: Expected work hours will be scheduled during day shift, Monday-Friday. The average workday can be expected to last 8 hours with occasional (partly weekend) overtime. This position is anticipated to start 12/01/2024 Your Responsibilities: As a member of the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team, you will be part of a driven community focused on providing our customers with world-class solutions that help push our customers forward. The FUCHS Smart Services Technician in Bucyrus, OH, is responsible for the care and maintenance of our client's industrial fluids including coolants, wash and other fluids. Additional responsibilities include: Collect samples from industrial fluid systems and perform laboratory testing, making corrections based on results Check and record system fluid levels and maintaining the proper fluid level on each system Perform routine preventative maintenance including filter changes and system cleaning Follow procedures and adhere to all customer and safety requirements Participate in daily communication meetings with site supervisor and communicate effectively Daily record keeping of all tests and operational data such as inventory or fluid levels in a web based system Material handling (including forklift operation) Qualifications we are looking for: High school diploma or equivalent +3 years of experience working in a manufacturing / industrial environment Related service experience in fluid systems and chemical industry preferred Mechanical aptitude is an asset Previous forklift experience is desired Basic computer knowledge/ability to navigate the internet & email Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs as well as standing and/or walking for approximately 4-8 hours daily These are your benefits: FUCHS offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
