You support system activities in a specific process area, including analysis, design, and overseeing the implementation of system changes to increase effectiveness and efficiency aligned with corporate strategies.

How you will contribute

  • You will work as an IT Product Manager supporting Corporate & Government Affairs (CGA) and Legal functions and oversee entire software catalogue of CGA/Legal regional and global applications. To do so, you will work with MDLZ internal teams, partner with external suppliers, and use your deep technical and market knowledge and thorough understanding of Mondelez’s business goals.

  • You will be responsible for understanding and documenting business requirements to identify and deploy the right software solutions for CGA/Legal functions in support of their business strategies.

  • You will oversee software solutions across their standard lifecycle and provide inputs to the annual financial planning for software licences, maintenance, or add-ons.

  • You will collaborate with CGA/Legal or other stakeholders and manage purchase orders, follow up on invoices and ensure vendors are paid on time.

  • You will also explore opportunities to leverage global solutions, drive savings and ensuring the IT Asset Management Repository database is accurate and up-to-date

  • You will also ensure that troubleshooting and support service level objectives and key performance indicators are achieved.

  • IT Service Management principles (e.g. service delivery, support, and operational excellence)

  • Managing relationships with business stakeholders, internal teams, and 3rd party vendors/partners

  • Project management experience (delivering projects within budget, timeline, and quality)

  • Understanding of integration and how different applications interact

  • Understanding of legal & compliance business processes from IT perspective

  • Understanding of security and privacy principles

Describe the broad function and scope of the position:

In this global role, located in Europe (ideally UK, SK, PL, RO, or BG), you will serve as a highly skilled IT Service Manager / Product Manager supporting our CGA/Legal business functions and be responsible for successful delivery of a high-quality IT operations and projects in support of the business objectives and overall strategy. You will also make sure that appropriate day to day IT support is provided to CGA/Legal teams enabling them to meet their business objectives serving as a single point of contact for IT troubleshooting. Serve as the liaison between the CGA/Legal and all other internal Mondelez teams as needed. Leverage process expertise, ownership and knowledge of the CGA/Legal application landscape to drive application standardization and rationalization – where applicable. Act as a relationship manager between MDLZ and our strategic partners/3rd party suppliers.

Describe the primary responsibilities of the position in order of importance :

  • Work collaboratively with other MDLZ IT peers and CGA/Legal business stakeholders to develop joint business & technology roadmap supported by appropriate budgets

  • Have excellent understanding of end-to-end CGA/Legal business processes, owning a portfolio of applications supporting those processes with deep understanding of capabilities of these solutions

  • The above will be coupled with application contract and financial management (e.g. annual budgeting, PO issuance, invoice tracking)

  • Support daily operations of CGA/Legal business systems

  • Manage vendor and support partner relationships

  • Identify opportunities towards IT cost reductions and/or service quality improvements

  • Translates business needs into functional requirements while driving CGA/Legal application standardization and rationalization

Internal and external contacts:

  • You will manage relationships with the following internal & external individuals and/or organizations:o MDLZ functional stakeholders in CGA/Legal and their sub-teams: Legal, Business Integrity, Compliance, Intellectual Property, Data Privacy, Communication, Corporate and Government Affairs, Global Security & Special Investigationso Other MDLZ internal teams or other functions e.g. Procurement, Cyber Security or othero 3rd party vendors and strategic support partners

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Several years of professional experience in IT solution/service delivery (ITIL certification is a plus)

  • Several years of experience working and delivering projects on time, within budget and with quality

  • Experience in corporate environment supporting Legal and Compliance functions, with a focus on stakeholder management and application life cycle management

  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing IT delivery roadmaps in partnership with business stakeholders and business strategy

  • Demonstrated experience working in a team with colleagues and stakeholders across various time zones in a global organization

  • Strong leadership and experience in vendor management and partnering with third party service providers

  • Prior experience working with stakeholders at varying seniority levels

  • Knowledge of security and privacy regulations (certifications are a plus)

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or Business Administration (or equivalent)

  • Professional maturity & good business acumen (prior CPG industry experience is a plus)

  • Proactivity, problem-solving attitude, quick decision making, drive for results, and impacting change

  • Strong systems aptitude (e.g. SaaS/Cloud computing, desktop apps, server and network, cyber security) and coupled with strong business process understanding

  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills with people in different time-zones

  • Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with business stakeholders, internal IT colleagues and external partners/suppliers

  • Ability to learn on the job and ask the right questions to grow knowledge and skills

  • Ability to cultivate an environment focused on customer satisfaction, delivery, co-operation, and trust

  • Ability to see beyond current business/technical situations and provide recommendations for process/systems improvements
