Oracle Customer Service Analyst 2-Support in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

Oracle Support provides technical and functional assistance to Oracle’s customers globally. The Oracle Retail product suite comprises of many different integrated applications. These applications provide retailers with an enterprise-wide solution footprint to manage their business. Opportunities exist for a Software Engineer in our expanding Retail support team.

As part of Oracle Retail Team, your focus is to deliver support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs, learning about their implementations. You will provide guidance and resolution on a wide range of technical and non-technical customer issues. This is a role where you would be enriching your knowledge every day.

Responsibilities

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proven experience in an application software environment working with Oracle Retail Applications and/ or Oracle Applications. Support for IT applications is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of relational DB models, SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Experience in Retail or Manufacturing disciplines of Merchandise/Materials Planning, Financial Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment, Warehouse Distribution, and Store Operations.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in functional modules, expertise at least in 2 modules.

  • Familiarity with Operating Systems

  • Excellent 2nd Level Software / Application and systems support experience in a Support environment.

  • Mandatory:

  • Proven experience in an application software environment working with Oracle Retail Applications and/ or Oracle Applications. Support for IT applications it is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of relational DB models, SQL and PL/SQL.

  • Excellent 2nd Level Software / Application and systems support experience in a Support environment.

  • Desirable:

  • Experience of working within a similar support role, ideally within the retail sector

  • Specialized know how on Windows, Network, Databases

  • Understanding of SQL Database and Linux platforms

  • KEY RELATIONSHIPS & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English are essential.

  • Strong customer service attitude (Customer Focus)

with excellent communication and people skills and the ability to work as part of a teams.

  • Client-driven – Has the ability to engage with customers and is able to provide great customer service to required standards in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Ability to multitask - being able to manage multiple incidents simultaneously.

  • Advanced Computer skills with a strong interest in IT (networks, MS Windows, Microsoft Office, Print Setup, Internet Explorer…)

  • Proven record of previous similar employments

  • Ability to resolve complex, technical problems.

  • Good interpersonal skills and a team player, capable of working as part of multi-disciplinary teams.
