Oracle CSS Senior Service Solution Consultant in BUCHAREST, Romania

Job Description

As a Senior Service Solution Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting Oracle University (OU) learning products and services in a presales capacity. This will include a solid technical background to enable demonstration development alongside functional skills within the Oracle SaaS portfolio. This is a customer facing role to support sales, key activities include; product tours, customer introductions, RFP responses and scoping exercises across a range of deals. You will need to deliver outstanding Oracle presentations and demonstrations and own all aspects of the presales process, for the deals you are assigned. Communication with internal stakeholders and external clients to present the overall solution proposal is a key part of this role.

The work is detail focused and can be complex, this involves the application of both technical OU skills and business skills in Oracle SaaS. Ideally you will have 3 years presales experience and relevant business experience with adoption/education applications or tools. Knowledge of competitors would be advantageous. Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills. This includes experience of: needs analysis, positioning, value proposition and business justification. Ability to persuade others through presentations, demonstrations, and written communication. Ad-hoc travel as needed to customer meetings. Degree or equivalent experience required.

Experience/Skills:

A typical experience profile for successful individuals in this role would include most of the following:

  • Experience of solution and services presales roles, with broad-based expertise in the area of learning and enablement.

  • Story based demonstrations, to communicate the benefits and value to each individual customer.

  • Proven ability to construct and deliver compelling presentations and propositions.

  • Awareness of industry standard best practice and large scale SaaS implementations.

  • Excellent written communication, collaboration and language skills.

  • Fluency in an additional language to English would be highly advantageous.

  • Strong working experience of Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and co-ordinate solution scope, RFX responses and presentations for standard portfolio solutions with Sales and Service Solution Architects.

  • Supporting the Service Solution Architects with complex and large scale solutions.

  • Support costing, pricing and contracting associated with specific opportunities and ensure that service solutions proposed are appropriate.

  • Work alongside the Sales team and directly interact with the customer and Oracle cross-line-of business.

  • Contribute to ongoing innovation of professional practice to achieve efficiencies in workflows and processes. This includes building and maintaining a library of standard services solution proposals and templates.
