The Legal Assistant will play a vital role in managing administrative tasks, organizing legal documents, and assisting with case management. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities: Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and correspondence. Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information as needed. Organize and maintain physical and electronic legal files and records. Manage attorneys' schedules, including coordinating meetings, hearings, and depositions. File legal documents with courts or relevant agencies and monitor deadlines. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to obtain or relay information. Process and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls. Handle billing, invoicing, and time tracking for legal services provided. :::

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field. Certification as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal. Previous experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Familiarity with e-filing systems and legal document management software. Experience in a specialized area of law, such as litigation, corporate, or real estate

Education: Associate

Experience: 1-4 years

Qualifications: Strong knowledge of legal terminology, processes, and document formatting. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal software such as Clio, LexisNexis, or Westlaw. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. Basic understanding of legal research methods and court filing procedures. :::
