Wilbur Ellis Nutrition is seeking an experienced sales professional to build their Pet Nutrition ingredient product line. What you'll do... As the Sr. Account Manager, you will drive the achievement of the annual sales budget, while actively participating in a small, collaborative team environment. You will leverage your extensive background (training, work experience, technical expertise) in business-to-business pet food ingredient sales for immediate impact. In addition, you will build/expand relationships with pet food company key stakeholders and industry influencers for long-term success, positioning the Wilbur Ellis portfolio as the brand of choice. You will develop and execute a territory plan aimed at positioning Wilbur Ellis Nutrition as the leading pet food additive and ingredient solution provider. WE team members will work together to identify market trends/needs and contribute to the overall business plan for the long-term success of the business. The Sr. Account Manager will travel occasionally and will report to the Director of Sales. The role will be remote-based. Solid customer-financing background with strong analytical skills You can work well independently and with a team You are flexible, adaptable, and a multitasker You are organized with the ability to develop a mid and long-term account strategy, gain alignment, and help develop tactics and action plans across diverse markets to achieve committed growth plans You have excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills You are detail-oriented and able to manage several projects at a time You'll make an impact by: Developing market intelligence based on customer feedback, industry trends & industry experience Leverage technical knowledge and product expertise to create a WE market advantage Building & maintaining relationships with high-priority end users and industry influencers in assigned territories to drive product sales Collaborating with team members to maximize business results in both the short and long term in areas such as marketing, customer support, supply chain, and regulatory Building the WE brand into the position of market leadership in the market Identifying new opportunities for WE to participate in the market with existing and future products/services Utilizing KPIs regularly to monitor/report progress toward goals and report on competitors, market conditions, etc. Identifying and leveraging market influencers (COIs) Providing territory sales forecasts Participating in industry events to support the business and the business objectives Translating customer/sales feedback into product development opportunities Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant industry-related field preferred (ex: animal science, nutrition, marketing, business management) 5-8 Years industry related work experience Strong network in the pet food and rendering industry. Demonstrated success in achieving budgeted results Experience in leveraging CRM systems and sales pipelines Willingness to travel domestically up to 20% of the time, including overnights Compensation and Benefits: In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the base compensation for this position ranges from $98,800 - $38,270.
