Nestle Shopper Trade Marketing Intern - Purina in Brussels, Belgium

Position Summary

  • How long will it last? 6 months

As the Shopper Trade Marketing Intern, you will strengthen the Category Management team, to improve our e-content & e-commerce footprint with our existing customer base (Pure Players & Bricks&Mortar). You will become the specialist & contact of the internal and external e-content, supported by the Category manager working closely with the e-commerce manager in Nestlé & Purina European center of competence.

You will activate digital Shopper communication across our brands, analyze their performance, roll-out new tools and leverage best in class execution. You will be the digital specialist working closely with the e-business manager, key accounts and with the digital business unit in Nestlé.

With your strong communication skills you easily establish efficient working relationships with different people inside and outside the organization. You love to combine both the analytical and Commercial aspect of your job.

Responsibilities and tasks

  • Take the ownership of the e-content process during the internal meetings with the Purina Team & within the cross business NIM meetings.

  • Streamline the EU support & offered services in our Belgian organization.

  • Upload e-content to our customer base & service providers (existing & new assortment), from basic e-content, appealing product description, pictures, ingredients … to activation via advanced e-content (bannering, video…).

  • Ensure the online visualization is aligned with the offline/store communication, eg. develop category communication by segment (Improved category visuals…).

  • Update the e-content with the Product/Brand relaunches & assortment changes by retailer.

  • Track our & competition visibility online.

  • Daily follow up & Support the e-business manager (MDO Team).

  • Manage briefings between brand managers and agencies (campaign objectives, brand guidelines, timing…).

  • Coordinate & develop digital assets via our partner agencies (mailings, visuals, social posts, videos…).

  • Track and analyse performance of our digital campaigns and websites performance (Google Analytics) and make actionable recommendations.

What will make you successful

  • You are fluent in English and Dutch or French.

  • You are a junior professional, hands-on approach.

  • You have a bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Economics, Sales or Marketing.

  • You are flexible and autonomous, with Project Management skills.

  • A passion for FMCG world is an asset.

  • You have a strong sociability and you dare to challenge others with an open and commercial mind, and you act proactively.

  • You see things in perspective.

  • You demonstrate a strong affinity with Digital/ Ecommerce.

  • You are IT literate with advanced skills on Excel.
