Philips Customer Project Manager in Brussel (Bruxelles), Belgium

This Customer Project Management role has the entire accountability for installations of medical equipment for Philips customers in Belgium. As CPM you are end-to-end managing all the aspects of the installation, from tendering phase all the way via preparation, planning, execution towards finalization by training the system users on their newly installed product.

In this role not only product installations are in scope, but also building works. Customers ask us to be end-to-end responsible for managing renovations or new buildings of rooms and or entire departments where the systems are in operation.

Your role:

  • Confirming & using the project objectives and customer success criteria, formulates the project plan, in consultation with project team members and other parties concerned on base of the customer contract.

  • Organizing the internal and external resources to be used (quality, time, budget and information) and specifying the quality standard in the processes. Engaging with procurement/supply chain for quotes / orders from external suppliers.

  • Working closely with (product) sales organization to ensure customer and solution readiness prior to order sign. Supporting in the pre-sales process as needed case by case (end 2 end responsible when it’s about building works.

  • Defining the risks (technical and commercial) of the project and developing scenarios to overcome these risks.

  • Directing project teams and gives them operational guidance, regarding content and organization.

  • Implementation and realization according to the project plan or validated project order in terms of quality, money, time, information, organization, and final customer acceptance and sign-off.

  • Responsible for maintaining up-to-date project documentation and executing the hand-over of the Customer to the Service Organization.

  • Responsible for driving compliancy to applicable regulations by project team, third parties and partners in the project.

  • Controlling the project budget and project progress, evaluates all change requests as to feasibility, costs/benefits and added value, takes corrective actions when necessary and generates.

  • Executing lessons learned meetings after project completions and converting those lessons into knowledge articles, training content or other actions of improvement.

  • Responsible for single, multi-site or multi-products projects.

  • Managing independently your own project team which means managing a team of internal specialists and external suppliers and customer representatives.

  • Mid-size projects or parts of larger projects including building works when required.

You're the right fit if:

  • Relevant working experience, including experience of leading workstreams within projects from idea through implementation with evidence of business impact.

  • You will have a strong background in building services either in mechanical or electrical or construction and will have a proven track record working on the design through execution of a variety of building design projects.

  • Proven track record in working with construction and technical projects from conception to completion.

  • An understanding of the Construction Design Management regulations.

  • Have significant experience of tender processes and of contract construction.

  • Previous experience on healthcare projects is an advantage.

  • Experience with a standardized project management methodology.

  • Ability to drive team collaboration.

  • Customer Centricity & stakeholder partnership knowledge.

  • Able to manage internal stakeholders and externals like subcontractors.

  • Typically lead medium complex projects.

  • Risk and Issue Management experience.

  • Evidence of applying daily management and methodical problem solving.

  • Professional capabilities in both speaking and writing in Dutch, French and English.

  • Personal capabilities like flexibility, resilience, communicational skills.
