Surveying and Mapping Technician
(Brownwood)
Job Description:
- Compile information necessary to stake projects for construction, using engineering plans.
- Identify and compile database information to map utility lines, connections, valves, etc.
- Operate and manage land-information computer systems, performing tasks such as storing data, and making inquiries.
- Collect information needed to carry out new surveys, using source maps, computer records, or other relevant information.
- Enter Global Positioning System (GPS) data Working with Computers
- Documenting/Recording Information
- Obtaining Information
- Communicating with Supervisors, Peers, or Subordinates
- Making Decisions and Solving Problems Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events
- Duties as assigned
Reimbursable:

Hours of operation:
- Monday - Friday 7:30AM - 6:00PM
- Occasional Saturdays, hours as assigned.
