Title: Senior Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Manager(Bilingual)
Location:Brossard, QC
Salary: $85-100k

The Senior HSE Specialist will assist the plant managers and other plant leaders in coordinating, implementing and maintaining the health, safety and environmental programs primarily for the Eastern Canada (ECAN). Furthermore, this individual will support the company HSE activities by achieving corporate objectives, driving overall ECAN improvement of plant safety culture and promote clients strategic approach:
Job Duties:
Manage primarily the environment and as well supporting health and safety while assuring sustainability of clients internal HSE standards.
Lead or assist with environmental permit requirements, including support of timely completion of mandatory reports.
Provide training and/or support for compliance and internal standard requirements, as needed.
Support and/or facilitate HSE incident investigations using root cause analysis methodologies to prevent reoccurrence.
Collaborate effectively with operations and other support functions in North America on continuous improvement projects to build and maintain a world-class HSE function.
Qualifications:
Science/Engineering related bachelor’s degree required, with a degree in Health, Safety or Environmental emphasis preferred.
Bilingual (French & English) is a must
Experiencing interacting with regulatory agencies, CNESST and WCB preferred
Experience managing environmental, health and safety requirements for an industrial operation
Project management experience and qualifications preferred
