Denver Precision Products is a family owned CNC swiss and lathe shop looking for an experienced programmer and machinist to join our team. We are looking for someone to lead our machinist department, your duties will consist of programming and setting up Tsugami swiss machines and Citizen Miyano turning centers along with managing the small machinist and operating team. Description: Supervise and lead a small team of machinist and operators Program a variety of parts for our CNC machines Oversee setup of our CNC swiss machines as per schedule Oversee in-process quality checks Help address machine alarms and troubleshoot maintenance issues Promote a safe work environment Collaborate with other departments and outside vendors to ensure latest machining techniques are being implemented Help other departments when the company is bottlenecked Required skills include: Reading blueprints and using hand tools minimum 3 years Knowledge of GD&T Prioritizing tasks and maintaining production goals Ability and willingness to work in a small team environment Experience in a manufacturing environment 3-7 years Strong understanding of machining principles, materials, and tooling Programing G code for CNC lathes We are a small business and our customers value our service.
