STAAR Trucking Dispatcher- Trucking in Brookville, Pennsylvania
Staar Companies is seeking a Dispatcher to join the team at our main office..
We have several dedicated customers as well as brokerages and load boards that we work off of. The ideal candidate will oversee the coordination of transportation services and ensure efficient dispatch operations.
Requirements:
- Transportation, supply chain or logistics experience
- Advanced technical/computer skills with the ability to use several programs simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong work ethic with a professional, positive attitude
- Creative problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; must be a team player and demonstrate the ability to coordinate with multiple associates
- Experience helpful with: Microsoft Office, 123Loadboard, DAT Loadboard, Direct Customer Tender, TMX System, Drive Axle, Samsara.
- Regards safety as the number one priority
- Must be a team player
- Must be reliable
- Can work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Is professional when interacting with drivers, customers, and other team members
- Supervisory experience a plus
- CDL license a plus
