Grundfos Regional Head of Marketing & Product Management - Americas in Brookshire, Texas

*What is the job about? *

The Regional Head of Marketing has the overall responsibility for the core marketing functions, market development and product management within the AMERICAS Region for the Water Utility Division. This includes marketing communications, marketing automation, regional product management, market and competition intelligence, industry, trade associations and public relations. The position also includes the responsibility for driving the strategy deployment in the region in collaboration with the Sr. Regional Sales Director for WU Division. This position reports directly to the Head of Solutions & Marketing WU and will operate on a hybrid schedule out of the Brookshire, Texas facility. Qualified candidates must have authorization to work in the USA without support now or in the future.

Your main responsibilities :  

  • Responsible for proposing, developing, and implementing marketing plans, product promotion and new product launch.

  • Oversee the regional marketing organization and act as a key partner to the AMERICAS WU sales head. Facilitate the regional growth plan and respective business cases/plans.

  • Plan, execute and optimize inbound and outbound digital marketing, which may include websites, mobile app, email, search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), digital advertising, social media marketing, affiliates, and emerging digital channels.

  • Develop plans to maintain an efficient, productive, and harmonious work environment. Select the right people and keep them trained and motivated to add value for the Grundfos customers.

  • Ensure commercial success of regional product portfolio, new product launches and profitability improvement of existing products. Be the regional voice of customer and capture regional market requirements. Promote regional go-to-market product management related activities.

  • Facilitate the yearly strategy deployment plan in the region in collaboration with the sales leadership.

  • Facilitate and manage external relationships with relevant industry associations, trade publications, government agencies, and press contracts to ensure brand visibility and company representation.

  • Facilitate market research for new geographies, customer segments, sales channels, or business opportunities.

Your background

We imagine that you have: 

  • Education: master’s degree in economics or marketing or business or equivalent

  • 7-10 years of experience in a Sales & Marketing leadership role, preferably within the Region, within the water/energy/municipal sector with an emphasis on Business/Sales Development, Brand Development & Positioning, Business Strategy, and Public Relations.

  • Experienced in leading and developing people and teams across geography and culture.

  • Experience operating and developing a team primarily within marketing and product management.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Digital Marketing & Automation field and ability to build these competencies in the team.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of marketing (including digital) and branding strategies and best practices.

  • Significant knowledge of best practices and relevant systems within marketing and product management.

  • Proven success in implementing complex marketing plans that ensure profitable growth.

  • Experience in managing large, complex budget.

  • Broad business understanding and proven ability to work across functions.
