About the Job:
We are seeking a visionary and results-oriented Senior Director, Sales and Partnerships to lead the growth and expansion of our corporate, brand and B2B sales opportunities. In this role, you will define, drive, and execute the strategy to establish and expand RTR's partnerships, corporate sales channels, and strategic collaborations. You will be responsible for building and scaling RTR's partner ecosystem, identifying key business opportunities, and optimizing our current partner relationships to drive revenue and brand impact. You will have extensive knowledge of the media landscape, have the ability to create media proposals, creative solutions and have an understanding of the ad tech space. This individual will own and build their own P&L and be responsible for generating upwards of $10m in annual revenue and delivering a new business to RTR.
Strategic Planning and Execution
Identify and build new sales opportunities to deliver to RTR ads and sales inititiatives.
Develop and implement a strategic roadmap of sales and partnerships opportunities both within our existing environment ( sampling, tours, stores, new programs) along with building an ad tech strategy in conjunction with product and engineering.
Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities for RTR that could drive new revenue streams against our current customer and brand ecosystem (i.e. affiliate model, giftcards, peer-to-peer, MLM, corporate collaborations)
Work in close collaboration with brand, creative, product and finance team to realize meaningful commercial partnerships that will drive top line revenue to RTR business.
Partnership Development and Management
Establish, develop and nurture relationships with key partners across various verticals including beauty, fashion, lifestyle and hospitality that can strategically deliver $10m in ad revenue for the business.
This individual will be responsible for building the team, sales toolkits, pipeline and building the working relationship with marketing and creative to execute and deliver all campaigns.
This lead will be responsible for the feedback loop and connection back to media partner to show true value to both RTR and respective partner.
Team Leadership
Build and develop a team of partnership/sales professionals to leverage this as a new commercial channel at RTR
Establish metrics, incentives, and growth plans to support the development and success of team members.
Revenue and Performance Management
Define and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for partnerships and sales.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track partnership effectiveness, business growth, and return on investment.
Develop and refine partnership structures and pricing models to optimize revenue generation and profitability.
Market Intelligence and Industry Networking
Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences to adapt partnership strategies accordingly.
Represent RTR at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and cultivate new opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to develop and integrate partnership strategies across the business.
Collaborate with the Product and Engineering teams to improve and adapt RTR's offerings based on partner feedback and business needs.
About You:
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
You have a creative marketing background along with commercial experience and can lead and develop commercial and contractual terms with associated partners.
Must be self sufficient, get up and go attitude and able to roll up sleeves and get stuff done.
You have 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, or business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
You have a proven track record of building and scaling partnerships that drive revenue growth, ideally in retail, fashion, or e-commerce.
You demonstrate strong negotiation, relationship management, and interpersonal skills with demonstrated success in closing high-value deals.
You have experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
You have an analytical and data-driven mindset with a strategic approach to decision-making.
You can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

The anticipated base salary for this position is $174,000 to $220,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity and performance-based compensation.
