Velosity Companies Thermoplastics Production Lead - 3rd shift in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota

MMD Medical, a Velosity Company is searching for a Thermoplastics Lead roleto support our manufacturing facility in Brooklyn Park, MN on our 3rd shift. In Addition to assemble and build components and operate injection molding machines and perform related component manufacturing operations including inspection, sorting, and trimming of those components in accordance with manufacturing and quality assurance procedures and specifications, the TP Lead is also responsible for training new employees, perform required material handling activities and reconcile DHR . This job is performed inside of a White room Operations area, Class 7 or Class 8 Cleanroom. This is an on-site position in Brooklyn Park, MN. Shift hours: Sunday - Thursday, 11pm - 7am The typical pay range for this role: $22.00 - $24.00, plus $1.50 in shift premium. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography, internal equity and other relevant factors. Ability to do basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide, fractions and decimals) Good manual dexterity and visual ability with high attention to detail Ability to use hand tools Physical & Mental Demands: Walking is required within the shop areas. Sitting, standing, turning the head and torso, reaching, grasping, bending and flexing the arms, legs, wrists, and fingers are physical requirements. Must have correctable eyesight and good depth perception. Must be able to sit for long periods of time. Must be able to walk, sit and occasionally climb and balance. Must be able to lift 30 pounds and move objects in a safe manner using proper equipment. Must have dexterity with hands. Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within a timely manner (results oriented); Ability to make decisions with limited information. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Work Environment: This is a non-smoking, professional manufacturing shop with normal lighting and climate control. This position may require one to move throughout the shop and o fice and may be subject to airborne contaminants and chemical odors as would be customary in an injection molding/ Precision Machining shop. The ability to work overtime when needed. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position. Protective Clothing Required: When in certain locations of the facility, eye and ear protection are required. Closed-toed/ Slip resistant shoes are also required in certain locations.
