- Ensure the legal requirements for road haulage are met;- Ensure compliance with shipping regulations;- Plan and supervise shipments;- Schedule routes, track orders;- Ensure proper storage and distribution of products;- Monitor transportation costs;- Maintain records;- Control dispatching and routing activities;- Supervise maintenance, repair, and replacement of shipping equipment or vehicles.Special Skills or Requirements- Associate's degree in Transportation and/or Logistics;- 2 years of experience in transportation and/or logistics;- CDL;- Driver’s license;- Must pass drug and alcohol test;- Ability to organize and process a high volume of work within established standards.
