UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester for a hybrid role in Brooklyn, NY. Candidates must be able to work 3 days onsite in Brooklyn, NY from day one. Project: The Quality Assurance Tester will have strong, recent experience in the manual/functional testing of highly complex web-based application systems and strong experience in Selenium automation.   MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• Min 5 Years of Experience with QA Methodology and QA Validations to ensure Quality Assurance Control.

• At least 5 years of manual functional testing experience.

• Min 5 Years Expertise in QA process well acquainted with all phases of SDLC and STLC and experience in testing very complicated applications.

• Min 5 Years of hands-on Experience in Agile Scrum and Waterfall Software Development Lifecycle.

• Expertise in working with Selenium Web Driver using TestNG Java framework.

• Expertise automating manual test case and test scripts using Selenium Web Driver using TestNG java framework.

• Expertise in writing test scripts using JavaScript in Eclipse IDE and expertise in inheritance, concatenation, and all OOPS concept.

• Hands-on Experience on developing a framework using a design pattern - Page Object Model.

• Experience in testing Middleware technologies Web Services (SOAP, REST) Testing using SOAPUI.

• Good experience in validating XML and XML Schema, XML Parser.

• Worked on cross browser IE, Firefox, and Chrome Driver.

• Hands-on experience in writing own CSS Selectors, Xpath expressions to identify web elements.

• Techniques to automate Ajax calls, Child Windows and IFrames.

• Hands-on experience Working with TestNG for Automation testing Reports.

• Hands-on experience on Working with Jenkins for Automation continuous integration, job scheduling and configuration.

• Hands-on experience in automating mobile applications using APPIUM and Angler applications with Protractor tool (Should be able to work independently with set up).

• Extensive experience GITLAB as version control tool.

• Experience in setting up test environment for automated script execution using Java, and TestNG.

• Experience in Performance testing using JMETER and LOADRUNNER.

  SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Initiate and implement manual and automation testing using all phases of the STLC for complex applications and systems.

• Develop frameworks using a design pattern -such as Page Object Model.

• Set up test environment for automated script execution using Java and TestNG.

• Write test scripts using JavaScript in Eclipse IDE

• Conduct Testing of Middleware technologies Web Services (SOAP, REST) Testing using SOAPUI

• Create and Execute test cases covering all integration points with other applications.

• Write own CSS Selectors, Xpath expressions to identify web elements.

• Create test reports using TestNG .

• Conduct performance testing using JMETER and LoadRunner.

• Perform cross browser testing on Firefox, and Chrome Driver

• Use GITLAB as version control tool.

• Working with Jenkins for Automation continuous integration, job scheduling and configuration.

• Automate mobile applications using APPIUM and Angler applications with Protractor tool.

• Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented.
