Corporate Hiring Solutions NG911 IT Master Scheduler in BROOKLYN, New York

Corporate Hiring Solutions is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fulfil the role of NG911 IT Master Scheduler. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in organizing and implementing scheduling management systems for identified projects, particularly in support of public safety initiatives.Responsibilities:Organize and implement scheduling management systems to support identified projects and their plans effectively.Assist in setting up tasks and sub-tasks to ensure the satisfactory realization of project requirements within scheduled timelines.Maintain an integrated master schedule (IMS) of tasks and their statuses, logging project timelines accurately.Consolidate individual project plans and dependencies into a comprehensive Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).Facilitate coordination and integration with interrelated Public Safety projects, ensuring program milestones and interdependencies are met seamlessly.Analyze critical paths and constraints to determine the effects of changes to the schedule, recommending suitable workarounds as necessary.Provide team leadership and direction on courses of action or recovery in cases of schedule slippage.MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:Minimum 8 years of experience overseeing medium to large-scale projects.Ability to conduct "What-If" scenario planning, WBS development, and proficiency in Critical Path Method (CPM).At least 8 years of experience in IT project planning/management or scheduling.Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.Excellent communication skills with a keen focus on quality and attention to detail.PMI-SP certification.Proficiency in MS Project Professional 2013.Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.Experience working with or for New York City government agencies.IT professional background with experience managing public safety projects.Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and problems effectively.Solid technical experience in a large-scale enterprise environment for Emergency Services.Proactive approach with high levels of energy, tenacity, and enthusiasm to deliver results.Compensation:Competitive rate: $85-90.00 per hour.Scheduled Work Hours:Normal business hours, Monday to Friday, totalling 35 hours per week (excluding a mandatory meal break after 6 hours of work).Join us in making a difference in public safety through efficient project scheduling and management.
