Position Title: Director of Catering Services

Salary: $83,000 to $162,000

Job Summary
What you’ll do:
Effectively partner with the BOH management team to deliver on Excellence
Comfortable presenting in front of all stakeholders (internal/external) with the ability to impact and motivate
Leader of the Events teams partnering with VP of Culinary to create dishes, and support training and execution onsite
Unwavering commitment to Excellence and raising the bar
Provide support, leadership, and guidance to the production team
Communicate consistently with the culinary team and partners to push the vision forward
Strong skills in creating innovative dishes through R&D, events, consulting
Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Ability to take feedback, adapt and apply quickly
Collaborate with Culinary leadership to develop systems and processes
Ensure the events, culinary, and BOH team is meeting all safety, compliance, and regulation requirements
partner with all areas of operations to develop collaboration
What we need from you:
Strong Computer Skills ( Microsoft Office, IMS, CaterXpert preferred)
15+ years of experience in off-site catering, large-scale special events, small intimate gatherings
Proven experience in hotel, fine dining restaurant, corporate dining which will support consulting division
Strong leadership skills
Excellent working knowledge of many styles of cuisine and types of events
CPR/1st Aid Certified (preferred)
NYC Food Handler’s Certificate
