Team First Activity Specialist (P/T) in Brooklyn, New York

Duties and Responsibilities:
-Coordinate and facilitate after school club activities (i.e. Dance, Mentoring, Book Club, Robotics,

Athletics, Leadership, Photography, etc)
-Provide academic and social support to project participants after school
-Facilitate leadership seminars during gender based mentoring programs
-Assist in data collection and analysis (student attendance data)
-Attend bi-monthly supervision meeting with the executive director (mandatory)

Minimum Qualifications:
-Associates Degree or 30 College Credits
-Minimum of 3 years of experience working with middle school disadvantaged student populations
-Demonstrates proficiency in the academic area for which tutoring is provided (math , english, history, science)

-Attention to detail
-Excellent computer skills
-Excellent verbal and writing skills
-Familiar with Microsoft Office applications
-Strong foundation in at least two content areas (i.e. Math, English, Social Studies, and Science)
-Bilingual strongly encouraged

Work Schedule
-Monday-Friday from 2:30 pm-5:30 pm daily (up to 15 hours per week)
-Some Saturdays required
-Flexible (will work with student schedule)
-Rate: $17.50/hr
