Summary:
Creates and designs broad brand media and advertising activities to drive the desired brand message for The MetroHealth System (MHS) and other MetroHealth corporate subsidiaries, with a goal to drive exceptional brand awareness, increased patient and referral activity, and greater community involvement. Key duties include advertising, creating promotions, launching new enterprise healthcare initiatives, and generating continued annual marketing campaigns. Provides analysis and insight to measure and improve brand marketing program effectiveness. Interacts with all touchpoints in the MHS healthcare value stream, including vendors, agencies, physicians, and patients, as well as other business and system partners to ensure marketing programs are cohesive across catalog and internet channels and align with overall brand objectives. Collaborative with other marketing and communication teams to ensure the correct brand image and values are promoted throughout all marketing activities. Supervises the production of brand programming agency content, media and advertising buys and placement, and broad digital campaigns and communications to ensure all the very best brand presence is upheld within the marketplace. Qualifications:
Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in addition to the experience stated below. 5-7 years working on or building iconic brands. 5-7 years building an understanding of how brand effectiveness is measured and articulating that to internal stakeholders. Experience working with and presenting ideas to all levels of business partners, up to and including C-level executives. Budget management experience. Strong quantitative skills. Excellent written, communication, presentation, and creativity skills. Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills; ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from strategy to execution. Proven track record of creative and resourceful approaches to unique business challenges. Demonstrated ability in making brand-appropriate strategic decisions. Superior relationship-building and influence management skills in interactions with senior leaders, peers, internal and external partners. Self-motivated with ability to take initiative and pursue opportunities. Demonstrated ability lead cross-functional teams. Works well independently and within a team setting. Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
Preferred: 5 years of brand marketing experience. Marketing experience in health care organization. Experience working with highly recognized, industry-leading brands.
