Job Description:

Analyze the request by the customer (RFQ) or public bid and develop the technical and economic proposal for the turnkey solution of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), Photovoltaic Power Plant, Microgrid and/or PCS, Power Management System (PMS), and Energy Management System (EMS) supply. Operate computer-assisted engineering or design software to develop technical proposal. Prepare the sizing and technical configuration of the BESS, Photovoltaic (PV), and Microgrid as best fit to RFQ or the bid. Confer with engineers, customers, or others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects execution. Provide Technical support to the Sales team in the negotiation with the customer. Liaise with Sales Headcount to define value proposition in the region. Interact with corporate engineering, R&D, and purchasing departments to evaluate cost and technology and select partners and suppliers. Prepare technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, or topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements (datasheet, technical specification, products, and Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) warranties) and the cost estimation for any project in the region. Support Contract Manager and/or Legal Department and Sales Headcount the definition of the scope of supply and contractual conditions (product warranty, system warranty, EPC performance warranty, project schedule warranty) to be included in the contract. The employee is required to travel domestically and internationally up to 30 percent of the time.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or the foreign equivalent in Engineering or a closely related field plus 5 years of progressive experience in an Electrical engineering occupation. Alternatively, the employer will accept a master's degree or the foreign equivalent in Engineering or a closely related field plus 3 years of experience in an Electrical engineering occupation.

The required experience must include:

• 2 years of experience proposal, or application engineering in utility-scale renewable energies EPC (Engineering Procurement and Construction) projects;
• 2 years of experience preparing sizing and technical configuration of BESS (Battery Energy Storage System);
• 2 years of engineering experience with the Utilities, industry; Developers, or DSO (Distribution System Operators) or TSO (Transmission Systems Operator);
• 2 years of experience in grid codes, energy, and power intensive BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) application, PCS  (Power Conversion System), and PMS (Power Management System); and
• 2 years of engineering experience developing proposal, testing, and commissioning with BESS projects, utility-scale renewable energies projects.

Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
